We offer the following services:
*Ability to scour/wash your very own fiber and have it returned to you in the following products:
*Round Roving ( no minimum amount)
*Mule Spun Yarns (100# minimum)
*You may provide us with pre-washed fiber to be processed into roving/yarns-however we do reserve the right to reject lots that may not be clean enough. No minimum on roving, but we do require 100# for yarn.
We process 100% wool or an 80/20 blend with alpaca or 50/50 blend with alpaca--both yarns and rovings.
For those not interested in true "custom" processing-we accept raw fleece and you may exchange for any of our products.
http://www.fibers4ewe.net/ - a small mill suggestion, located in NE Connecticut. Their final product is lovely, and the price was reasonable. Not sure what their wait time is right now, but there is a list on the site.
Do you process fleece? Send your information to lmardennh@yahoo.com, and we'll post the details. Send pics, hours or seasons of operations, and details you wish. If this entry becomes too long, we'll split it up.
